Agreement

By installing or using Annotate AI ("the Extension"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.

Description of Service

Annotate AI is a browser extension that allows you to highlight and comment on AI chatbot responses, then compile and send structured feedback. The Extension operates locally in your browser and communicates with ExtensionPay for subscription management.

Free and Pro Tiers

Annotate AI offers a free tier with limited features and a paid Pro tier with additional features. The specific features available in each tier may change over time. Current Pro pricing is displayed in the Extension and on the Chrome Web Store listing.

Subscriptions and Payments

Pro subscriptions are managed through ExtensionPay and processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to ExtensionPay's terms of service and Stripe's terms of service. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Extension's Settings panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refund requests may be submitted by contacting us at the email address below.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension, or circumvent its subscription or feature-gating mechanisms.

Third-Party Platforms

The Extension operates on third-party platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok) that we do not control. These platforms may change their interfaces at any time, which may temporarily affect the Extension's functionality. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI. We make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all platforms at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
